Skybrake Black Box

Skybrake Black Box records GPS data, stores them and transmits them to the BMS (Black Box management system) processing software using wireless data transmission technology. BMS software allows to see car’s location and speed on a Google Earth map. It is also possible to send all data to a web-based server.

Skybrake Black Box products can be completed with Skybrake immobilizers in order to combine vehicle safety and control. Due to its small size, the sensitive GPS receiver and the simple installation Skybrake Black Box is easy to install in any vehicle. Skybrake Black Box allows the vehicle owners and insurers to be constantly informed on the vehicle’s usage conditions.

Skybrake Black Box principle of operation:

• The vehicle is equipped with a Skybrake Black Box control unit containing an internal GPS antena.
• The device records GPS data, stores them and transmits them to the BMS processing software using wireless data transmission technology.
• Due to its small size, the sensitive GPS receiver and the simple installation the device is easy to install in any vehicle.
• Skybrake Black Box user software allows to access the vehicle information at any time as required.

Skybrake Black Box is perfectly suited for use with the PAYD („Pay As You Drive”) car insurance, as it is an independent data gathering device installed in the vehicle and provides information on its usage history.

The insurer is provided with information about vehicle mileage, usage time and date, driving speed and location (city or outskirts etc).
