In March 2008, SKYBRAKE took part in the international
exhibition CeBIT 2008, in Hannover, Germany. During this exhibition, it
received a substantial offer on the supply of the patented identification
system created by the designer team to the Italian manufacturers of car
protection equipment. Highly appreciated were both the idea of the
identification system and its dimensions that make it possible to integrate it
in very compact car protection equipment. The
SKYBRAKE stand in the exhibition was also attended by the Minister of Special
Tasks in Electronic Governance Matters who expressed her appreciation of the
achievements.
In April 2008, SKYBRAKE continued presenting the new
generation SKYBRAKE DD2+ and SKYBRAKE fleet management system in one of the largest
international car industry exhibitions, Zagreba Auto Show, in Croatia. In
addition, SKYBRAKE was the only representative from Latvia.
Year 2008 for SKYBRAKE starts with the
presentation of the new generation immobilizer SKYBRAKE DD2+ at the largest
advanced and innovative technologies exhibition 'CES 2008' in Las Vegas, the USA, where it is presented in the car
equipment segment. SKYBRAKE gains experts recognition for its innovating
approach to using wireless technologies in the vehicle protection systems. At
the exhibition, the company starts negotiations on the potential cooperation
with several companies working on vehicle protection technologies in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, China and Australia.
Development of a new generation of SKYBRAKE immobilizer models with motion sensors is commenced. Autonams, the inventor and manufacturer of SKYBRAKE, continues to be one step ahead and analyzes future perspectives to develop new and innovative products, including the vehicle fleet management system and Black Box products.
A new SKYBRAKE plant is opened in Riga and the manufacturing volume is doubled to meet the rapidly increasing demand from the export countries which has increased by 45% compared to the previous year.
SKYBRAKE triples manufacturing volumes compared to 2005 to reach 32 thousand units.
SKYBRAKE strengthens its position in the key export countries such as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia and Lithuania
SKYBRAKE starts its success story throughout Latvia and in September takes part in the international exhibition Automechanica 2004 in Frankfurt and introduces itself to the international market.
The unique SKYBRAKE Double Dialogue technology is introduced and patented, and SKYBRAKE obtains the international quality certificate CE.
As a result of continuous research and development of SKYBRAKE immobilizers, their quality and uniqueness is established and the first steps are taken towards international markets.
